Stand Alone Arcade 1980 pac man

February 27th, 2010

So you want to play games online. Good check out this new Social Software I have loaded on this site. It is an arcade and only an arcade.

THE ARCADE.

1980 pac man

You want to play 1980′s games online. Good we have them. You want to play 1980 pac man great we have that too.

You don’t even have to sign up to play, but if you do then you can challenge your friends to beat your high scores.

I bet a lot of you work at places that have limits on where you can go to play games. I bet you my site is not blocked, because quite frankly it’s just not popular enough to be blocked. We have all the games you could possibly need to keep yourself entertained.

With over 4000 games to choose from I dare you to not find at least one you will come back for.

1980 pac man is not the only thing we have obviously. Actually most of the site games were probably made after 1980 pac man, but I am just trying to get that phrase in enough to get some unique visitors to my site. It may be shameless promotion, but I didn’t make the google algorythm did I.

Thank you for visiting and please play a game before you leave.

THE ARCADE.

According to Wikipedia the know it all of the internet. Pac-man was released in Japan on May 22 1980. Since then pac man has spun off thirty more video games including Ms. pac man.

1980 pac man has really lived a good life. My grandmother still kicks my ass at the game she has one of the original flat top full arcade versions in her basement and judginf from her mad skills, she has spent far too much time with that machine.

My arcade will treat you to about 19 pacman games just go hereand search for pacman.

Have fun!

Fire in Hampton Beach

February 26th, 2010

There was a fire just after midnight Thursday in the tourist area of Hampton Beach, NH. The fire was fueled by the wind coming from the ocean and five buildings were destroyed by the time fire crews got the blaze under control.

Hampton Beach fire officials stated that the fire spread quickly due to the lack of appropriate fire stops in this historic part of this popular tourist destination about a half hour north of Boston.

Obama Health Care Summit

February 26th, 2010

It was pretty cool to watch the Obama health care summit yesterday. It really is getting quite sad how our government disagrees about everything and has made itself so ineffective that it is only joke worthy at this point.

It was pretty cool to watch Obama basically call people misinformed when he actually wanted to scream, “LIAR”.

The president stated that he did not want this health care summit to be political theater, but that is exactly what it was.

After all the arguing was done and they headed back over to the white house and began the press conference circus it was more clear than ever that no two people agreed on anything as usual.

I guess if we didn’t have the “Obama health care summit political theater happy hour” we would be forced to find entertainment elsewhere.

Gold VS Chicken

January 9th, 2010

Value of gold. Why on earth is gold worth so much per ounce. An ounce is an insignificant amount and gold is topping the charts around 1200 per.

My theory is that without stupidity running our market places that a chicken which has real value should be comparable in price to an ounce of gold. Sure gold is hard to find and its rarity is why we covet it enough for the mark up, but if you are hungry a chicken would be more practical than an ounce of gold.

Health Care Reform

January 9th, 2010

According to the Orlando Sentinal the healthcare reform bill will limit the out of pocket insurance cost for a family of 4 making 44100 a year to 2800 by the senates bill and 2400 by the houses.

I currently pay 5850 a year for a family plan and I only make about 38000 and I do have a family of 4. It sounds to good to be true.

Health care reform seems like it will inevitably destroy the quality and quantity of care we have in this country, but it will make it so much more affordable.

My guess is that we will love heath care reform in the short run and then hate the irreversible effects in the future.

U-6 vs. U-3 Unemployment numbers

November 25th, 2009

U-6 that is the real number to watch, whereas the unemployment number that is used publicly is actually the U-3.

U-3 is currently 10.3%. U-6 is 17.5%.

This is part of what is wrong with our country. We mislead in order to create false economic growth. Thus the misleaders can benefit and then blame everyone else for the bubble burst.

U-3 is the number of people on unemployment benefits. U-6 remembers to measure the people who have run out of benefits and also those who have taken employment that is less than what they need, or under employed.

We will continue to see the U-3 number decline as many people will start running out of benefits or finally decide to take a job that is insufficient for their needs. Analyst suggest that the U-6 number will continue to rise as there is no clear indication of jobs being created to thwart the job losses.

The major industry that was at the center of our bubble burst was housing and it will not recover without outside help. There can be no demand for housing without economic growth and there can be no economic growth in housing without demand. Therefore a new industry would have to take it’s place and although the government has suggested that the new industyr will be the “Green Technologies” there is no clear direction or measurable growth in this area.

We may be a minimum of a decade away from recovery, and these dark times are being plastered over with false information. Unfortunately the information will only lead to the rich getting richer and real recovery being farther away.

If we truly want to recover we must allow the system to stabilize around reality first. It would mean darker times, but it would allow for a smoother and more fair recovery. If all suffer prices will go down and the need for alternative enegry will be more prevelant. Then and only then will we all be on an even playing field to reenergize our econmy and have a brighter future.

If we allow the consumer to be falsely informed about the ecomony, and therfore convince the hard working americans to feed corporate greed who will be left to help them rebuild that which they have destroyed?

Learning about Freelancing

October 14th, 2009

Freelance writing. I just added an RSS feed from Angela Booth’s site. She says she has been a freelance writer for 30 years. Her articles seem to be very informative. I would love to make some extra money writing articles or anything really.

I have been writing articles for Associated Content and I found another site I like because it splits revenue 50-50 called xomba, but so far I haven’t made crap.

I know there are people out there who make a healthy living writing and I am striving to figure out how they do it.

I’ll keep you posted.

Enough With The Grilled Cheese

October 8th, 2009

I have been staring at my last post that contains a picture of a grilled cheese sandwich that I must have eaten about a month ago. I mean to keep up with this blog, but by nature I always start a lot of projects that inevitably take me a long time to get back too.

The grilled cheese sandwich was an attempt for me to try and log my daily food intake. I read an awesome interview that was from the creator of wii fit. He had been gaining weight, programmers tend to do that when they get deep into projects it seems. He started taking a picture of everything he ate with his cell phone to be more aware of what he was eating and invariably lost weight. Well the pictures helped him start exercising and the combination of efforts helped him lose weight.

Back to the grilled cheese. Anyway I was attempting to do the same thing, but I started using my blog before I realized that this would be a crappy place to do it. My blog is not intended to bore the crap out of the few readers I have, so I moved that project to a junk page where it is better suited, but it took me a week to figure out the coding to be able to email images to the page.

Making the junk page is just some of the things that kept me from blogging though, and now that i have returned I of course see the grilled cheese photo and instead of removing it I just figured I would write about it.

I also have been busy writing articles for sites that get a lot more hits than my blog. In fact my blog gets negative hits if that is even possible.

I recently wrote some content and placed it on Xomba. Check out my articles if you get a chance.
